| In natural yellow wax and a kaleidoscope of colours. |
Imagine the scent of summer flowers on a warm, gentle breeze. The soft hum of a myriad of creatures moving amongst mass a of colour: the reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues and mauves which are our gardens in summer.....Honeybees produce wax in the hive to build the honeycomb which is their home. It has been calculated that the bees must consume five pounds of honey to build one pound of wax. The beeswax used in our candle kits has been cleaned and remoulded into sheets with the hexagonal honeycomb pattern pressed into them.
Light a beeswax candle on a cold, dark winters evening, and the delicate perfume will recreate the warmth of summer in your home.

Our Natural Wax Kit contains sheets of golden yellow wax which have the strongest aroma characteristic of beeswax.
The two Coloured Wax Kits - pastel or bright - contain a selection of coloured wax sheets which have been chosen to complement both traditional and modern soft furnishings and candleholders.
The Christmas Kit offers a festive combination of red and green wax which will enhance seasonal decorations, and add an elegant touch to the Christmas dining table.
Children love making the candles to give as presents to grans, aunts etc.
The kits are attractively boxed, and contain six sheets of wax, approximately 200mm square, two metres of candle wick, a plastic bee pin, and full instructions. The sheets can be used as they are or cut to the required size using a sharp knife and ruler.
A range of unboxed kits containing wax and wick offer the choice of lots of colour combinations, and great value for money.
Prices start from just £7.00 postpaid within the U.K. and £8.00 (around US$15) shipped by airmail post worldwide.
The candles are made by cutting a sheet of wax to the required height, putting a length of wick against the inside edge, and gently but firmly rolling the sheet into a tube shape - just as a swiss roll or roulade is rolled. This is a completely "cold" process - there is no need to heat or melt the wax, it merely needs to be at a comfortable room temperature, around 20C.
The simplicity of the process of rolling candles, the variety of colours and the instant success of the first candle appeals to adults and children alike. The kit is suitable for children age 8 and over, but we recommend adult supervision, especially if the wax is to be cut.
